A Founder’s Story

In 1981, a fourth-grade Dave Ferguson started writing software to help automate his dad’s shop floor—laying the foundation for what would become MIE Solutions.

Dave started his business to spend more time with his dad; make a positive impact on the lives of his employees and customers; and to see his products flourish. 40 years later, when Dave begin considering stepping back from his business, he knew what kind of partner he was looking for …
